Sump Pumps are needed when there is no fall, pitch or grade to drain water away with gravity.

When rain water rises up from below the footer, pressure builds and water finds the path of least resistance. Proper drainage is needed and can lead to major costly foundation problems if not corrected. Our most common method is to sawcut the concrete floor along typically two walls, and install a drain pipe system flowing into a sump pump and pumping the water to the street or storm drain. This along with a properly working gutter downspout system will correct the drainage issue.
